There was a recent launch of Tecno’s Camon 40 series in Pakistan. On the local market, Tecno Camon 40 vanilla and Tecno Camon 40 pro are now available. Its performance is similar to the Pro, but the Camon 40 sacrifices durability and selfie resolution.
This handset features a flat AMOLED display on the front instead of the curved AMOLED on the Pro. A 6.78-inch display graces the Camon 40. This 5-inch device clocks at Hz and features a 1080p FHD+ display with always-on functionality.

Panda King Glass protects the screen, while IP66 ensures minimal water resistance, with fingerprint sensors under the screen. On the front, the Camon 40 uses a 32MP camera, but it does not have eye focus, unlike the Pro.
It has the same 50MP LYT-700C Sony main sensor that can take AI Best-Moment photos and flash shots with one click of the red button. Camon Mobile’s secondary lens can take 8 MP ultrawide photos.
Tecno’s HiOS Android 15 system makes this handset competitive with its AI suite. Ella ScreenSense, AI translator, AI writer, and LiveLink calls are included with DeepSeek integration.
The UI is handled by a Helio G100 chip with only 8 GB of RAM. It will only be available in Pakistan in 256 GB variants. Its 5200mAh battery will last at least 5 years, with 1800 cycles in both the Pro and non-Pro versions. It still receives the same 45W fast charging despite being the base model.
It has dual speakers, but it doesn’t have a 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res DAC. Only the Pro model offers that feature. The Tecno Camon 40 is available in Pakistan with 8/256GB of memory for Rs 59,999.
