With the exception of a few specifications, the iPhone SE 4 is just as powerful and modern as the iPhone 16. The SE 4 could be renamed to the iPhone 16e, according to a new theory by leaker Majin Bu.
According to Majin Bu’s latest X post, he gathered this information from his insider sources, making it difficult to dispute what he says. Honestly, this new theory seems to make a lot of sense, and if it panned out, no Apple fan would be surprised.
It looks like the new iPhone 14 leak reaffirms an OLED display as well as an Action button rather than a slider. Black and white may be the colors available with the iPhone 16E. CAD renders of the 16E’s protective case were also posted.
A new affordable iPhone variant has been released that’s more streamlined, naturally fitting into Apple’s original catalog, and it also reflects Apple’s vision. The iPhone 16 series is an entry-level phone. The iPhone 16 series will feature a corner-to-corner display, flat edges, and Face ID, which is a stark contrast to the features offered by the iPhone SE 3. Leaving the retro design and SE moniker behind is a wise move for Apple.
The iPhone 16E name implies the company intends to occupy another major share of the smartphone market in the near future. Despite not being 100% accurate, this leak is interesting regardless. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about this iPhone SE 4/16E leak soon.
